What this statement covers

The Legal Forms website. We used this approach to deciding on a sample of pages to test  https://hub.laserform.co.uk.

This product’s accessibility status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-compliance for Legal Forms

The following elements are not currently at least WCAG compliant:

PDF and Word documents

Disproportionate burden

[List any accessibility problems here that would be a disproportionate burden to fix. Some may not be like this for a long time so it’s important to reassess this periodically. A disproportionate burden is one that is particularly difficult or expensive to fix. A disproportionate burden can only be something that is a significant portion of your product and you shouldn't just use it as an excuse to not do something that would be a pain to fix. You need legally justifiable grounds and should consult with the UX team to assess whether something is a disproportionate burden or not.]

Third-party integrations

Where possible, we work to make the integrations as accessible as possible. However, we are limited by the technology that the integrations provide us with in order to achieve full accessibility.

Legal Forms uses the following third-party integrations:

Custom themes and colours that can be changed by customers/users

Where the product allows for custom colour changes, Advanced cannot be held responsible for any colours that have been changed by any customers/users where there is or could be an impact on the accessibility of the product. To guarantee at least an AA level of colour contrast, please ensure your colour scheme is the default theme of the product.

Accessibility at Advanced

Throughout Advanced we are working to ensure that all products are at least WCAG AA compliant. In some areas this may not be currently possible. However, where we do not currently have compliance, a plan to be compliant is in place.

We are always working on improving our accessibility, however at times we are limited by what technologies are available to us. These will be highlighted within this policy.

Enforcement procedure*

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’). If you’re not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
